MAGA Rapper Bryson Gray Talks Brysoncreates.com Apparel and Bringing Conservative Values to Twitch

Bryson Gray

Live from Music Row Friday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed Nashvillian and MAGA Rapper Bryson Gray in studio to talk about his products for sale on brysoncreates.com and live streaming on Amazon-owned Twitch.

Leahy: Bryson Gray, the most infamous MAGA rapper in America, is in studio with us. Bryson, you sell hoodies and hats? I’m not sure if I’m a hoodie guy. I might be a hat guy. I’m right now at brysoncreates.com. And I want to order a hat.

I’m gonna get the hat. I’m gonna wear it in the studio. I want to get your advice. Now, which one should I get? I’m gonna try these. Okay, you tell me. There’s a bucket hat. I just learned the term. Red bucket hat that says Make America Great Again. That’d be a good one.

Gray: Legendary, classic. That’s a good one.

Leahy: Okay, so then I’ve got another one here. It’s a bucket hat. It’s black, and it says in white, MAGA Steppin’.

Gray: Ooof.

Leahy: Is that a good one?

Gray: That’s an amazing one. You got to have the easy shoes to go with it, though.

Leahy: Do you sell shoes, too?

Gray: (Laughs) No.

Leahy: Did you have a video to go along with MAGA Steppin’?

Gray: That’s one of our most popular songs called MAGA Steppin’.

Leahy: What is MAGA Steppin’?

Gray: Well, at the time, I was like Kanye was out with the MAGA hat on, so I was like, Yeezys on my feet so I’m MAGA stepping.

Leahy: (Laughter) Oh, my goodness. Well, that should be a lot of fun.

Gray: Yes sir.

Leahy: And you do performances?

Gray: Yes. I have a performance later this month.

Leahy: Where?

Gray: Taylor, Arizona on the 28th.

Leahy: If I could rustle up a performance for you here, would you be interested in doing it?

Gray: Of course.

Leahy: I have an idea. We’ll talk off-air about this. I think you could really. It’ll be very interesting. This particular one I have in mind. Now the last hat is a red baseball hat that I’m looking at. It says Black Lives MAGA.

Gray: (Laughter) If you really want to trigger somebody, that will be the one.

Leahy: When your girlfriend wears Black Lives MAGA, she tells me, she’s here in studio, she’s laughing right now that kind of triggers people.

Gray: Oh, yeah. I’ll walk the airports with all of our merch, and people get more and more pissed off every time.

Leahy: They do. What we’re going to do here is – I can’t decide, I’m going to buy all three of them.

Gray: Amazing! (Laughs)

Leahy: Amazing. And then I’ll take the pictures.

Gray: Please! I can’t wait to post them.

Leahy: That would be an old conservative white guy wearing a MAGA Steppin’ bucket hat.

Gray: Yes, sir. We’ll have to give you some Yeezys, too. (Laughs)

Leahy: That’s Yeezy shoes?

Gray: Yeah, some Yeezy shoes.

Leahy: What are Yeezys?

Gray: I have on an older pair right now, but she has on a pair of Yeezys, which I think are more fly.

Leahy: Okay, the more fly. (Gray laughs) I’m learning new words all the time. Let me tell you a word no one has ever used to describe me, fly. (Gray laughs) No one ever has called me fly. But those shoes are fly. If I wear the Yeezy shoes…

Gray: With the MAGA Steppin’ bucket hat. Ooh eeee!

Leahy: We might start a trend here of our listeners, you know. MAGA Steppin’ bucket hat, Yeezy shoes, and we’ll all be so fly.

Gray: Superfly. The only problem, man, the shoes are not what I would call cheap shoes.

Leahy: We’ll look at the price points on them. But what is unique about a Yeezy shoe?

Gray: They look different. They just look different than regular shoes. I don’t know if you can see hers. They are not just regular shoes. So these are like the first version.

Leahy: Okay. I can see them. They look pretty cool.

Gray: Yeah, yeah, they look cool, but I like the newer ones.

Leahy: But I’ve never been an arbiter of cool fly or any of that kind of stuff. I’m just not. I’m a very square old white guy. That’s basically me.

Gray: You seem pretty cool to me. I just have to say.

Leahy: So now tell me a little bit about what your future is going to be at brysoncreates.com.

Gray: My future, honestly, is continuing to make music to try to shift culture, because my goal is culture. I’m trying to shift culture, and music is one of the most important ways to do that.

And a lot of conservatives don’t tap into rap music, which is the most popular genre in this country. Conservatives don’t tap into gaming, which is one of the largest markets in this country and one of the fastest-growing markets in the country.

Leahy: And you do gaming?

Gray: Yes, I stream on Twitch. I play Fortnite, and I try to push conservative values while I do it.

Leahy: You stream on Twitch?

Gray: Yes.

Leahy: So my head is really exploding now. I don’t know what that means. (Laughter)

Gray: So Twitch is a platform where you live stream on – is usually for gangs, but there’s a lot of conservatives that do their news on there, and things like that are a very popular platform. But conservatives usually get kicked off.

Leahy: Why do conservative gets kicked off of Twitch?

Gray: Because conservative views are not allowed on social media anymore. And Twitch is a prime example of that. So Twitch is full of popular liberals pushing their beliefs on kids. And it’s not like regular marketing. Kids are watching these people for at least three to four hours at a time.

Leahy: Really?

Gray: Oh, yeah. So they’re learning. Even when I hear – when I play with younger people that game, they sound like the gamers they watch. It’s like they’re getting taught things by these gamers. So I’m trying to push conservative values. My own type of propaganda.

Leahy: That is interesting. But is it the most infamous MAGA rapper in the world against the rest of the world, or do you have more allies in that?

Gray: It’s really me against the world type name because I’m one of the few people that’s not going to really compromise, and I’m not afraid to cross lines per see. But there are a few others, like Tyson James. He doesn’t stream on Twitch, but he’s another MAGA rapper.

Leahy: Again, Tyson James doesn’t stream on Twitch. If The Star News Network were to stream on Twitch, what would happen?

Gray: It could possibly blow up. Then you get subscribers. Seriously. It’s a really big platform.

Leahy: So who owns Twitch?

Gray: Amazon.

Leahy: Dom dom dom.

Gray: Dom dom dom. (Laughs)

Leahy: Amazon owns Twitch. How long before they would kick us off?

Gray: It could be quick. (Laughter) I’ve been there for a while, but only because I don’t promote my Twitch a lot. The few people that know our stream, they come in and watch me, but I do not promote it because I enjoy it.

Leahy: Twitch is the world’s leading Livestream platform for gamers and the things we love.

Gray: Yeah, that makes sense.

Leahy: But when you say you stream on Twitch, what do you do in?

Gray: I’m either streaming debates or a lot of times I just go around donating to random streamers or I am playing Fortnite. That’s all I do in there.

Leahy: Okay, so what is Fortnite? (Laughter)

Gray: It’s a very complicated video game. It’s like a third-person shooter, but it’s so complicated, I can’t even explain it to you. (Chuckles)

Leahy: Well, don’t try, because we have a limited amount of time left, and my head is already exploding with all the new things that I’ve learned and all the things that I need to learn. I’m going to follow up. So we’ll try a little experiment. Here’s what I think we probably ought to do. I ought to buy my MAGA Steppin’ bucket hat.

Gray: Yes, sir.

Leahy: And then we’ll start streaming on Twitch.

Gray: Yes, sir.

Leahy: Maybe you and I should be streaming together on Twitch.

Gray: Let’s do it. I’m down. I’m down. You can do it.

Leahy: I think I’ll need a guide on how to stream on Twitch.

Gray: I got you.

Leahy: And what sort of things would we communicate? What do we do? Like a live video? What would we do?

Gray: Well, you can take anything and pretty much stream from Twitch. So we can be on live together and streaming on Twitch.

Leahy: Could we live stream this radio program on Twitch?

Gray: Yes.

Leahy: Okay, so that I can understand how to do that. What do we need to do that all you need is to get this and streaming on Twitch?

Gray: They have a stream key and a stream key. So we need, like, a video camera in here.

Leahy: Streaming on Twitch. Bryson Gray, infamous MAGA rapper. The most infamous MAGA rapper in the United States and in the world …

Gray: Yes, sir.

Leahy: And Michael Patrick Leahy streaming on Twitch. Waiting to see how long it will take them to kick us off. What’s the over-under on that?

Gray: A lot of times it’s fairly quickly. (Leahy laughs) I have been doing – how to delete my vibes all the time.

Leahy: I don’t think we’d make it 24 hours. (Gray laughs) You know what I mean?

Gray: You could.

Leahy: I’m going to try that. It’s going to be a new product offering of The Star News Network. Bryson Gray, the infamous MAGA rapper, and Michael Patrick Leahy streaming on Twitch. That will be a hoot.

Gray: Let’s do it!

Leahy: Alright Bryson Gray, thanks for joining us.

Gray: Of course. Anytime.
